Privacy Policy

MonoBanker (“the app”, “we”, “our”) is a local-only companion app for tracking money and transactions during in-person board games. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains exactly what the app does — and, more importantly, what it does not do — with your information.

Summary

• We do not collect any personal information.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
• The app works fully offline. There is no account, no login, and no server.
• All game data stays on your device.

Information We Collect

None. MonoBanker does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store any personal information about you on any server we control.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app saves the following data locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage (UserDefaults) so the app can remember your preferences and the current game:

• Player names and chosen colors that you create or save.
• Current game state (balances, transaction history, settings such as Starting Balance, Dice card visibility, Haptics, and Suggested Amounts).

This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is not accessible to MonoBanker or any third party.
• Is removed when you delete the app or use the app’s “End Game” and Settings controls to clear it.

If you back up your device through iCloud Backup or encrypted local backup, Apple may include this app’s local data in that backup as part of standard iOS behavior. That backup is managed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, not by us.

In-App Purchases (Tip Jar)

MonoBanker includes an optional “Support development” tip jar implemented with Apple’s StoreKit. If you choose to leave a tip:

• The transaction is processed entirely by Apple.
• We never see your name, email, billing details, or payment information.
• Apple may share aggregated, anonymized sales information with us through App Store Connect (for example, the number of tips of each tier). This data does not identify you.

Apple’s handling of these transactions is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

MonoBanker contains:

• No analytics SDKs.
• No crash-reporting SDKs.
• No advertising.
• No third-party trackers.
• No App Tracking Transparency prompts, because nothing in the app tracks you across other apps or websites.

Permissions

MonoBanker does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, calendar, health data, or any other sensitive system data.

Children’s Privacy

MonoBanker does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is safe to use by players of any age and is appropriate for family game nights.

Data Sharing

Because we do not collect any data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to any third party, advertiser, data broker, or government entity.

Your Choices

• You can delete all locally stored game data at any time from inside the app (e.g. “End Game”) or by deleting the app from your device.
• You can disable haptics, the dice card, and suggested amounts from the Settings screen.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on the App Store.
